The picture above shows wonderful people from the Czech Republic who attended training in the use of family maps and elements of family reconstruction led by Steve Buckbee and Michael Dupont. It was a three day program full of enthusiasm and interest. Almost all of the persons who attended are graduates of a program approved by the Czech Ministry of Health called MOVISA-Model of Virginia Satir and sponsored by the Czech Republic Institute for Transformation Systemic Therapy. The training takes 4 years with participants being mainly psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, and social workers working in different areas, including schools, counseling centers, psychiatric hospitals, family centers, private clinical practices etc.

The Czech Republic Institute for Transformation Systemic Therapy was founded in 2014 by MD. Alexandra Beránková, Mgr. Lubica Lichorobiecová, Mgr. Renata Koláčková, Mgr. Jarmila Petrovská PhD., Mgr. Petr Štěpaník and Mgr. Petr Hýl and closely cooperates with other organizations, especially the Institute of Virginia Satirovej in the Slovak Republic, and is an affiliate organization of Satir Global Network.
