Celebrating Who We Are

In 2007, our board very consciously changed our name from Avanta: the Virginia Satir Network to The Virginia Satir Global Network because we wanted to emphasize that the teachings of Virginia were being enthusiastically received by people all over the world and we wanted to support that by creating a network where people could connect, share and support each other in that work.

Core to Virginia’s teachings was the belief in the equality of all persons, regardless of differences of roles, genders, races, ethnicities, religions and cultures. She travelled the world helping people feel their value and make heart connections with others, celebrating their sameness and their differences.

In this period of change throughout the world, we believe SATIR GLOBAL offers an important service. Thank you for being a part of it!
