BEING Within – Between – Among – Beyond

We are delighted to announce the publishing of the book, BEING Within-Between-Among-Beyond, by Paula Englander-Golden and David Golden who created the extremely successful Satir based program, Say It Straight.
The book is based on their work on communication and behavior with thousands of people of all ages in the United States and abroad, in diverse settings and cultures, for over 30 years. Their work led them to understand that seeing our sameness as human beings is more fundamental than our diversity and it makes relationships of equal value a reality. Then, diversity can add richness to our lives, rather than conflict.
They also found that our deepest longing goes beyond our wish to be loved and valued by others and includes our wish to love and value ourselves and to love and value others. Relationships of equal value involve honoring ourselves, others, and our issues, how we are within ourselves, how we are between ourselves and others, how we are in a group, between or among groups or nations, and how we can open a door to go beyond anything we have yet experienced.
