The Haven

The Haven is a not-for-profit Centre for Transformational Learning on beautiful Gabriola Island in British Columbia, Canada. We have been offering experientially based programs for over 40 years, including Satir based programs, for those looking to understand themselves, others, and relationships, and to create the life they want. Our programs are offered in-person and are grounded in a fundamental respect for the uniqueness of each person and the belief that everybody matters.

The Haven has a long history with Satir training, starting with Virginia in the 1980’s and then continuing with the late Maria Gomori until her death in 2021. All of our Satir program leaders were long-standing students of Maria Gomori and strive to continue the good work of these outstanding educators.
