Inspired by Virginia Satir’s enduring legacy as a pioneering therapist, the Virginia Satir Global Learning Center was founded on the vision of training clinicians and laypersons worldwide. Our mission is to bring hope and healing to the world by propagating the transformative power of Satir’s therapeutic models.

Our History
Virginia Satir, often regarded as the "Mother of Family Therapy," dedicated her life to enhancing human connections and fostering understanding within families. Her dream was to establish a center that would serve as a beacon of learning and transformation. Today, the Virginia Satir Global Learning Center stands as a fulfillment of her vision, continuing her mission to heal and empower individuals and communities.

Our Vision
Rooted in the spirit of Virginia Satir’s work, our vision is to extend her transformative methodologies into a global context. We cultivate authentic connection and provide transformational tools that foster healing, hope, and integration. Drawing upon the wisdom of Satir’s model of therapy, contemporary science, and experiential learning, we strive to strengthen relationships between self, others, and the greater human family, helping people everywhere become more fully human.

We offer a comprehensive range of courses year-round, accessible worldwide through our online platform and at our geolocal campus in Houston. Our curriculum includes:
