- Satir Non-Global Event
STST is unique in encompassing both the intrapsychic and interactive components of therapy. Much therapy of the past has been focused only on clients’ behaviour, cognition or affect. This model is focused on the whole human being, bringing about transformational change by tapping the internal resources and universal yearnings of individuals within their personal, family, and social systems. The process requires that the therapist has a high level of therapeutic competence and congruence.

What participants have said…
As a final note, I want to express my deep appreciation and gratitude for this course. I entered into it with few expectations or previous knowledge, as it was a course I needed to fulfill registration requirements so resigned myself to taking it without really knowing what it was about. I have been consistently delighted and appreciative for the content and how applicable it is in my daily life. It provides such a useful framework for exploration of so many topics and aspects of daily living. I can also see how so many different modalities grew out of this approach – although I have not really seen that acknowledged in the literature. Satir was a thinker ahead of her time and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn more about her work and have had the chance to apply it to my own life.

We learned the process and the model, through its own process and model. No finer proof of its efficacy. The weaving-in throughout, of the teachings of Satir kept us connected to the source of this genius work.
Professionally, my practice has been both affirmed and at the same time elevated to a whole new level. The approach which has been so elegantly modeled, has a flexibility which has allowed me to easily and effortlessly intertwine my existing modalities in counselling, hypnotherapy, Timeline Therapy, EFT and NLP.
I am very grateful that I was able to take the course with you. I didn’t expect to have so many takeaways for my personal growth and development. At the same time, I also learned professionally and my need for connection was met as well. I really appreciate how engaged, positive, organized, structured, creative and warm you were for our group. I am looking forward to meeting you again!”
