Satir News Flash: Appreciation to Eileen Strider

Eileen Strider

The Satir Global Network Board wants to express a HUGE APPRECATION to Eileen Strider who has been the lead on two major task forces. First, she was the leader of the 100,000 Heart Connections Campaign and did a marvelous job, not only in terms of getting donations but also in terms of gathering videos of appreciation.

Secondly, Eileen led the Membership Task Force, comprised of Martha Morgan, Duane Osterlind and Kim Hendren. This task force eventually morphed into a task force to re-design the Satir Global website in order to make it more user-friendly. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the new website, please go to and let us know what you think by emailing Kim at

Eileen’s qualifications were just what was needed for this role, as we needed someone with technical and management background to be the interface between the Board the web development company, Velvet Ink Media. We truly could not have developed this new website without her!

Just to give you a flavor of Eileen’s background, it includes 7 years as an IT technical professional and 20 years in management positions. And she also has worked to helped university administrations make systems changes using her knowledge of the Satir Model. Some of the universities where she has worked include the University of Maryland, the University of Missouri and the University of Iowa Foundation.

Most appreciatively,

Sharon Loeschen, President of the Satir Global Board
