Celebrating Enriching Trainers’ Suzanne Brown and Trish Brown

In the picture above, you see Suzanne Brown and Trish Brown. They are being featured today because they recently finished leading a highly successful Enriching program for a group of teachers! This is so exciting as the aim of the Enriching program is to bring Satir’s teachings to a broader audience than just those in the counseling world. (If you are not familiar with the program and would like to learn more about it, contact Kim at office@satirglobal.org.)

Suzanne Brown is a licensed clinical social work and addictions specialist in Chapel Hill, NC, US. She works as a psychotherapist, coach and trainer in private practice. She began her Satir training five years ago with Jean McLendon and felt very connected to the spirit and teachings of the Satir Model right away. Today she is part of the leadership team resurrecting the Satir Institute of the Southeast as well as a support to the University of North Carolina School of Social Work Satir Program.

Trish Brown is currently a teacher leadership specialist for Turner Creek Year-Round Elementary School in Cary, NC. Trish has a wide range of experience in education having received her master’s degree in curriculum and having worked for the Wake County Public Schools teaching children and adults and facilitating school improvement.

Trish attended the UNC Summer Intensive with Jean McLendon and was inspired to become a part of the UNC Satir Program leadership and teaching team.

We look forward to many more trainings led by this great team!

*On a sad note, we want to extend our hearts to all of those who have been impacted by the flooding in the US this past week.
